"We live in a culture where it is not uncommon to literally run in order to relax, or pay money for the privilege of pacing on a treadmill."

~Robert N. Levine
I haven't been posting much, I know. I've been in consumption mode and really trying to read more books than usual. And when I've been creating things, it's been for other people rather than my own pursuits.
Anyway, This quote is from a book called The Geography of Time. I'll be honest, it's a pretty slow read. The concept is interesting and the data is interesting but the writing, I'm afraid, is not great. Levine did deliver some great money quotes but I really had to work to finish this book. If you're interested in knowing more about time and how different cultures view it, I encourage you to give it a shot.
